Halloween News!

Halloween was so fun this year. Quin was wolverine, he grew out a beard for a month and by halloween I was ready to see it go. But he looked just like him, and corb loved it. Corb was Bumblebee and Taya the ladybug. For me, I was spaghetti!!

Corb is totally obsessed with Transformers. He will tell you about all the characters and what they do, decepticons vs. autobots. He's always wanted the good guys, but now he's wanting megatron and the bad guys too. It doesn't help that his dad loves helping him turn his toys from robot to car ALL day long, seriously like 50 times. I guess it's kinda fun when you can re-live your childhood when they play with the same toys you did. I think Tay needs a kitchen or big doll house soon!!! It was so fun going to the pumpkin patch, Corb was super psyched about picking a 'big punkin' and I love when we get to throw hoodies and big boots on the kids.

Summer wrap

Well, it's pretty much the end of summer time and I haven't blogged a bit. It's been soo much fun, but we have picked up our Halloween costumes and Christmas decorations are out in all the stores. So, so long to a super fun summer and on to fall.

Corb started school. Oh so bittersweet. I know it's just pre-school, but seriously it was kinda sad sending him away and he was soooo excited to see Mrs. Butler and be with his friends. He got a new Transformers plate set to eat breakfast on and ofcourse you have to have the front door pic!

HAPPY 6TH ANNIVERSARY!!! We had a fun golf weekend away. Thanks g-ma and g-pa and aunt Aubs for watching the kiddos. Sorry Tay didn't really sleep too much.

SLIP N' SLIDE!!! This event in Mackintosh's backyard is always one of the funnest things all summer. it's about 200 ft. of seriously fast fun. We went down on tubes and a couple times I just flew off mine.



My sister was here almost the entire month of July. It was fun having all the cousins together and we had tons of sleepovers.

Fishing in Midway, It's the only way to go! You have to have a kid with you is the only rule (it's a kids pond). You can honestly catch 10 fish in a half an hour.

We love our cousins Bela and Van. Van has the cutest cheesers ever!

~Little Girl Tea~

It's Tea Time! Stephy threw an amazing little girl tea party. Just us girls in my family minus Nads who couldn't come and we missed her, but after this one, I think it's going to happen alot more often."Tea" (pink lemonade) parties are fun for many reasons:

*A reason to have a party because honestly, who doesn't love parties?

*Eating nummy food

*Being with the girls and having girl talk

*Sometimes little girls are a little calmer when there's no boys around

*Oh and Taya became an artist!

Since both the kids had birthdays, it was time for some new pictures. Sarah did such a great job, I had a hard time picking my favorites, but here are a few. This first picture is funny because I really think Tay gets sick of me kissing her face so much, I just can't help it. Thanks again Sarah, you did such a great job, we love you.

Ultimate "Man"cation

I typically leave all of the blogging to Lou.... and well, there are somethings in life that you just have to share personally to give it justice. So here goes my first BLOGGING experience. We'll start it with these few words: guys, hunting, fishing, golf, food, Terminator, beach.... ya,....that about sums it up.

We started out fishing in Boca Grande, FL during the peak time of the Tarpon Season. 2 days of tired arms and aching backs from these monster fish.

This one was about 200+ pounds and 35 minutes of fighting it.

We also saw a tarpon get attacked by a 14 foot Hammer head... yep it was sweet.

We swung some stix in the 91 degree, 100% humidity

Hunting for Gators and Boars?... that sounds too easy! We tried to make it a little harder with our bows.

All in all, it was just great to get out and spend some time with the Boys.

HaPpY bIrThDaY

Happy Birthday Taya Bean! Pretty much ever since she was born we have called her our little bean. Therefore, we just couldn't have her first birthday without lot's of jellybeans! Let's get to know Taya:

*Well, she's remained a bean at a whopping 16.5 lbs. and is still facing backwards in her carseat.

*Has never, ever drank out of a bottle and at this point probably never will, but loves her sippy!

*Loves, loves, loves to dance, bopping her head, and when sitting -her legs go crazy up and down.

*Loves to fall backwards, if anyone wants her to like you, just have her go flying back or throw her up, she's a little more daring than Corb was as a babe.

*Says "ma-ma," "da-da", "hi", "ba-ba" (baby, not bottle), and lot's of jibber-jabber.
*She's had one haircut only to get rid of the mullet

*8 teethers!!!

*Loves to blow kisses and especially loves giving kisses while saying "mmmmwa"

*Pretty much runs around the house with her walking toy running into walls and turning around and taking off, but take that walking toy away and she acts like she can barely balance on her tiny feet. I'm just waiting for the day she takes off without pushing something.

*Loves to wave, play patty cake and peek a boo. If you really want a smile out of her, just sing the popcorn song. It get's her every time!

Taya is so sweet and we are so lucky to have her. Thanks to all our family for celebrating her big day with us!
